Studies have shown that changes in
the brain probably occur for years before manifesting as symptoms. Most family
members of a person with Alzheimer's Disease are able to recall unusual
incidents that occurred months or years before a loved one was diagnosed. At
home, they may gradually turn over certain responsibilities to others, such as
balancing a checkbook, shopping for food, or preparing income taxes. They may
avoid new and unfamiliar places and people because it will be much of a
challenge for them, when doing thing that are not routine for them they may
experience confusion and may even get lost if their are alone, its get
difficult to understand or solve practical problems. Like other symptoms in the
early stages of Alzheimer's Disease, this symptom comes and goes,
disorientation may be more frequently, personality changes and delusional
thinking, this are the most common symptoms in the early stages of this disease.
